As a consultant, Veeko supports Mass Insight’s portfolio of School Improvement projects including the Advanced Placement Action Community, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Veeko’s work includes helping schools design systems that provide equitable access to Advanced Placement courses for Black, Latinx students as well as those from low-income backgrounds. Prior to working for Mass Insight Veeko served as an assistant principal, was the Director of Design and Innovation at the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI), served as a Senior Effectiveness Coach with The New Teacher Project (TNTP) and presented at the Common Core Teacher Institute on NBC’s Education Nation. Veeko holds a Bachelor’s degree from Berea College (KY) and Masters degrees from Indiana University and Teachers College: Columbia University.
