Julie Alexander

Julie Alexander joins our AP team as the Sr. Content Director for AP English. Before jumping into the world of education, Julie spent nearly 20 years in corporate executive roles helping brands like Coca-Cola, Disney, and Dunkin’ understand why consumers behave the way they do. She has taught in secondary, collegiate, and corporate settings and received the 2016 Mass Insight Partners in Excellence Teacher Award for her work in AP Language at Fitchburg High School. Julie earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Business Administration from UCLA and a master’s degree in teaching from Northeastern University. She loves spending time with her husband of nearly 25 years and their daughter who is currently at The Ohio State University, as well as her family and friends living in Ohio, New York, Missouri, and her home state of California. She is a big fan of collegiate basketball, The New York Times Mini Crossword, Jeopardy!, hot lattes, reading, puns, and naps.
