Joe Mancino has been teaching all levels of Physics in central Connecticut for 14 years and has taught graduate courses for pre-service science teachers with the University of Connecticut Neag School of Education. He has served as a reader, table leader, and writer for the AP Physics exams since 2014. Recently, he co-authored the updated student guide to accompany the Serway and Vuille text. Joe has worked with new Physics teachers around the globe as a consultant for the College Board. On Saturdays, he presents at Physics review sessions throughout Connecticut through Project Opening Doors and Massachusetts with Mass Insight Education. He has also served as a mentor teacher for several first- and second-year teachers as well as cooperating teacher for several student teachers. Currently, Joe is a member of the AP Physics 1 test development committee, a small team that develops the free response questions AP Physics 1 test.
