At 2PM this Thursday, July 12, the Annenberg Institute for School Reform is hosting a webinar on the role of districts in turnaround. Panelists Heather Zavadsky (author of School Turnaround: The Essential Role of Districts and Director of Insights, Communities Foundation of Texas), Alan Coverstone (Executive Director of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools Innovation School Zone), and Warren Simmons (Executive Director of Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University) will discuss the challenges district leaders might face, while providing examples of successful strategies.
