Favorite thing about teaching AP: I love teaching AP Statistics because there are so many fun ways to connect the content to the real-world. I also enjoy watching the students grow and seeing how much they have accomplished throughout the year. Their enthusiasm and strong work ethic makes teaching the class really rewarding.

Fun fact: I enjoy rock climbing and country line dancing.

Favorite thing about teaching AP: I love AP. Our school is very diverse. We have many students with profound intellectual opportunity. We are uniquely placed to work to address the racial and socio-economic achievement gap. AP, especially AP CS-Principles, can be a key factor in this work. I love working with students who are not currently on track to do college level STEM work. The class can open their mind to a fundamental change in opportunity.

Fun fact: I was so nervous the first time I took the SAT that I wet my pants.
