Bringing Together Universities and Industry to Address Global Challenges
The University Day objectives are 1) to establish a vision for university-industry partnerships between the U.S., China, and India that transforms traditional models for R&D and education and talent development; 2) profile successful partnership models; and 3) develop an agenda for public policy and government investment to serve as a catalyst for university-industry cooperation in addressing major global challenges.

Featured Speaker

Susan Avery
Susan Avery comes to WHOI from the University of Colorado at Boulder (UCB). Since August 2004, she has served in interim positions as vice chancellor for research and dean of the graduate school, as well as provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs at UCB. She has been a member of the university faculty since 1982, most recently holding the academic rank of professor of electrical and computer engineering.
