Eldrin is a Consultant on Mass Insight’s School Improvement Team. He has conducted school level comprehensive needs assessments and district diagnostic reviews in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Texas. His most recent work focuses on leading a review of the implementation and impact of Georgia’s statewide strategy for supporting schools and districts. With Mass Insight’s recent approval as a Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) Service Partner in North Carolina, Eldrin is leading efforts to identify district needs and connect supports to identified schools through Innovative Partnership Grants. Prior to joining Mass Insight, Eldrin taught high school math in DeKalb County, Georgia and developed state math assessments at American Institutes for Research (AIR) in Washington, D.C. While serving as Analyst for District Supervision and Support at the Connecticut State Department of Education, he led the development and analysis of turnaround initiatives in priority school districts across the state. Eldrin holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Morehouse College, an M.S. in Social Foundations of Education from Georgia State University, and a Ph.D. in Education; Culture, Curriculum, and Change from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
